Printing in the Simulation Laboratory
Printing Allowance
Each user on the BIOENG-LABS domain has an allowance of 100 pages per semester. This allowance is extended as a courtesy from the department and is intended for incidental printing for classes and personal. The allowance is not intended to supply sufficient printing for all of your online class notes, electronic theses, 10GB data files, novellas, etc. For limited circumstance, additional printing pages may be obtained by contaction Gary Meyers in Room 111A Hallowel Bldg.
Difficulties Printing
Many printing problems are related to running out of your printing allowance. If your job is refusing to print, you may not have any more allowance to print.
Printer address:
The network address for the printer in 112 Hallowell is: \\ENGRBIOELAB\BIOE4100.
If you do not have the printer, you may try the following:
1. Run gpupdate
a.
Open a command prompt (Start | Run | type cmd and press OK).
b. Type "gpupdate /force" without the quotes.
c. Log off the computer and log back on.
2. Map the printer:
a. Select Start | Control Panel | Printers
b. Add a printer
c. Enter \\engrbioelab\bioe4100
