BMES
The Penn State chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society is an organization created with the purpose of providing an environment in which students can interact with educators and professionals in engineering, science and medicine. We provide a means for students to explore Bioengineering beyond academia. You don't have to be a bioengineer to join. Come out and join us for our next event!
SPAN
Students and Physicians Across Nations (SPAN) is a Penn State student-run organization dedicated to raising awareness about global health inequities. Created in 2005 and soon to be a chapter of Physicians for Human Rights, we engage in outreach activities on campus and in the community. SPAN members span a variety of educational backgrounds and interests, and we always welcome new members who possess our shared passion for education and global health.
